Sequencing

1. Sequencing Introduction
This is a very comprehensive video that gives an overview of both concepts and menus involved for understanding how to create a song with the Alesis Fusion music workstation.

2. Adding Tracks
Learn how to add tracks to a sequence in song mode. This video also covers options for selecting what type of track will be added, including both synth and audio.

3. Realtime Record
Begin to understand the steps and procedures for performing a real-time record operation using the Alesis Fusion.

4. Quantizing Track Data
Dive into advanced track processes by walking through the steps of selecting tracks, track locations, then initiating and executing commands to correct note timing of previously recorded performances.

5. Looping Songs and Independent Tracks
In this video Paul explains the steps to set up portions of both a song and tracks to loop. This is very helpful when first sketching a song to build up a groove. You'll also use this to record drum portions in multiple passes of a selected area.

6. Processing Additional Track Edits

Sound Editing

1. Introduction and Navigation

2. Front Panel Edits
Learn the basic edits that can be made in Program mode for adjusting sound characteristics and parameters from the front panel of the Alesis Fusion workstation.

This lesson explains the features and controls that are available on the first page of the program edits. These are features such as category, naming, and play type settings that effect the entire Program.

4. Program Synth Edits
Dig deep into the synth edit pages. These menus explore the many parameters for adjusting oscillators specific settings for various synth types. In this particular video you'll learn how to adjust filters, pitch, and various other settings, including envelope settings. These control how your sounds change overtime which is useful for adjusting sweeps, decays, volume attacks, etc.

5. Program Utility Commands
The Fusion has a very easy to understand interface for performing program operations through the utilities menu. In this video Paul explains those options in detail.

6. Mix Mode Introduction
In this video Paul gives an overview that covers how mix's relate to programs, and also covers what type of adjustments can be made in this particular and useful mode. Mix mode is where you'll set up splits, layers, and performances that can have up to 4 simultaneous arpeggios running at the same time.

7. Mix Mode Part Edits
In this tutorial you'll learn how to perform part edits. These parts are very similar to tracks in song mode, where you'll add and assign parts, then adjust playback preferences, key ranges, etc, to customize a mix for its use.

8. Arpeggio Settings in Mix Mode
Apply custom settings to your arpeggio set ups in mix mode. These can be assigned to play back drum patterns, bass lines, and leads for a mix.

1. Sampling Introduction
